We have had good fortune to produce the smallest castings from few grams to the largest casting 35,000 grams. Still, we can manufacture the castings up to 50,000 grams at our present foundry.

Design Consideration
For any product development, the design part is always important from the point of manufacturing process and the same is in the case of investment castings. We can suggest to manufacture the job with slight changes in the conventional designs which in fact will not impair its functions. This will also ensure the maximum soundness of the castings, eliminating any shrinkage, porosities or cavities in the castings.
Moreover, the castings will be manufactured with a better yield and with a lesser rejection, which in fact will help the buyer to get the product at a more economical price.
Dimension Tolerances
Investment castings can be produced with a very close control dimensions eliminating machining in some of the products. It’s to the buyer’s interest to develop the product with minimum machining allowance to enable the buyer to take the advantage of the process.
General tolerances which can be achieved by this process are mentioned below. However if require still further tight tolerance, the same can be discussed with the manufacturer and then can be designed the product accordingly.
Dimensions
The dimensions tolerances mentioned are as per Indian Standards 11166 Class II. All tolerances are in tolerances.

0.015 inch for each 2 inch. of radius proportionately.
